The long awaited arrival of baby Trinity is here. She came to us at 5:34 am and is in perfect health. I can’t begin to express the feelings of becoming a grandparent; to watch as your child gives birth and becomes a parent is something I will never forget.
We spent the majority of Trinity’s first day at the hospital with her, taking pictures….lots and lots of pictures. Funny how I just kept snapping and snapping the photos one after another. I’m willing to bet that I have 100’s of pictures that look almost identical, but were taken mere minutes (or seconds) apart.
What a wonderful day; seeing my daughter hold her daughter for the first time. The love and joy in her eyes and she held her daughter and looked into her eyes for the first time. I look forward to documenting the life of young Trinity as she grows, watching her learn how to crawl, walk and to hear her first words.
Another great part of the day was to witness
Trinity embrace her family. She was visited by everyone that was in the area and they all came bearing love and affection. There was an steady stream of visitors throughout the day as she met and was held by us all.
Quote of the Day:
Life is not an exact science, it is an art.
--Samuel Butler, the younger
